seadoo junkie	posted: 7/29/2010 6:21:47 AM Hi Frank, In 1999 I bought a Yamaha 3 seater with the 155 hp Triple. (Did I just hear someone gasp? :) ) It was my first 3 seater with a huge engine for the times. Weighed a ton. Displaced water like a lobster boat. 18.5 gal tank which seemed to last 45 minutes, etc... Ran gr8 until it didn't....and then it was in the shop all of the time..maybe 8 times a month....all under warrenty. The dealer couldn't fix it, so they said Yamaha would send in "the sharpshooter" who could fix anything. Or not. Finally spoke to Yamaha myself. Asked for a loaner. They don't do that. Asked for a new replacement machine. They don't do that. Asked for my money back. They don't do that. Asked them to fix my machine since it was still under warrenty. They said they would not spend any more time/money on my watercraft, even though it was under warrenty. Really?! Called the 1-800-LEMON-LAW attorneys. At that time, I believe they were just out of Philadelphia. It's now 11 years later...I'm sure they have expanded. I won...Yamaha issued a full refund excluding sales tax. Since I won, I had to give the lawyers something like $1,500+-. Used the money to get a new Sea Doo. :) Good luck.
Chilli	posted: 7/29/2010 2:26:34 AM inner dock missaligned, have the same issue, dealer trimmed the rubber ??? trying to get some answers but no-one seems to no if they came out like this etc and yes front cover hinges and rear hinges having problems and olso rear speedo cover doesnt fit, ive only done 1hr on this ski.

Frank 3	posted: 8/9/2009 6:00:34 PM Thanks for your reply. Took mine out today and fuel pump went out. iS went out. Neutral position PWC moves in reverse quickly. Have a lemon with no lemon law. Do you know of an attorney who could assist me? Dealer and SeaDoo giving me the run around.

Buddah	posted: 8/6/2009 5:16:37 PM man sounds like when i bought my 97 xp. bought it the third day the new body style was out, had every problem in the book. water injestion, blown exhaust hose, leak at thew hull fitting, u name it. but couldn't afford to take the loss. mani hated that ski.
Frank 3	posted: 8/6/2009 4:30:29 PM Purchased a 2009 GTX iS 255. Is there anyone outthere having these issues? I just completed 10 hours on my GTX. It has been in the shop 7 times and on the water 5 times. Problems Occurring: a. Engine Code Errors b. Gasket on outter edge of Inner Haul rubbing inside of Outter Haul. c. Seats ripping d. Back Storage Hatch hinge breaking f. Mirror Covers breaking e. Numerous trips to the shop Spent a lot of money and extremely dissapointed with product and corporate contact-customer satisfaction manager.
