03 GTX Vans Triple Crown - 582 hours

Self maintained, wear ring replaced twice, a few sensors and starter relay.

If you want to know the hours with relying on the jetskis computer. install a hobbs meter , like a Piper airplane. Therefore when the computer or whatever fails on the jetski. You always have a hour meter inside. Rental companies do it. Some machines when you even change the batteries you lose the hours numbers on the console. Another reason to install the hobbs meter. Just have your local dealership do it for you if you don't know how... thats my .02

00 RX carby, 263 hours. New starter and Bendix, ignition pickup, and stator coil @ 245 or so. A single tooth broke off the Bendix and went to town on me.

96 GTX: 400 hrs. Just pulled the carbs to clean for the first time. No other engine work.

06 RXP: 125 hrs. Still has the ceramic washers.

08 RXP-X: 40 hrs. so far so good.

Ain't Skeered's '96 GSX all surf/wave riding
800hours with the head never being removed..
nearly pure abuse! We did keep it serviced, but that's only a small reason why, wish we could take more credit. It gets better, at 850+ mark the lower con-rod failed breaking the cases and an AFTERMARKET warranty let us installa NEW BRP shortblock!!!!!! HOLY COW, THAT's getting your $$$'s worth!!

Oh I wish I lived somewhere warm where you don't get -45 degree weather, and 10 feet of snow. My 97SPX only has about 50 hours on it (since I bought it 4 years ago). Pretty sad isn't it?
