Here's some of that helpful info, raely is it the switch itself, but sometimes. Most of the time this "hard push" issue is due to poor alignment of the actual switch which lies beneath the outer switch rubber.

David,
Thanks for sending this guy to e-bay istead of mentioning that he can get this part from us here at PPG.

We only host this site at ZERO cost to the community. and as most know by now... if you can't find the answer to your problem here, then many will help you work through it to keep your machines up and running.

We stock over 1 million dollars in our parts room. it would sure be nice if you could at least try to send the business our way first.

I would like to say thank you to all the LOYAL sea-doo.net members that DO use us for all thier needs, it is because of them thatI still have a job and can afford to take care of my 3 kids.

$85 or less on ebay. Just the button is like $5... Take ya about 30 mins max to put in the whole unit. Remember, you will have to pull off the handle bar harness. While ur in there ya might as well clean it out. The button you can do from the top. Take ya a couple minutes...

I have a 2002 GTX and the "start/stop button has become very hard to push. Is it a replacement part that I can do myself?
