Just buy them a wakeboard or a wakeskate.

I don't know of a kit, but a pair of $10 garage sale skis, a couple of 1x4s, some screws and a saw would probably be all you need.

I know this is a PWC forum but this group has always been so helpful I figured this 'Left Field' question was worth a shot.

I am wondering if anyone knows if there is a kit to make a regular set of waterskis into a 'junior' set? What I mean by 'Junior' is adding the crossbar on the front to keep the skis together. My kids are blessed/cursed with large feet and are way passed the kids sized boots in most smaller junior skis. I have an old set of adult skis that they can fit into but I need to add the crossbrace to them.

They want to try and ski now that we finally have a PWC that pull them up (2010 GTX 155 vs our old 96GTX) but I don't want to drop $150 for a temporary set of skis. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Redirects to some site to help me out?

All are appreciated.
