glen I was sure I mentioned water injection so I checked this post .. I did mention it rite in first post. I been wondering why it ran gud for past two years n.all sudden I was messn with jets. So to check water injection for pulse shud I unplug the plug n ground the black n test the red with test light? I gettn close to just parting this thing out cause I.only have two months to ride n I rather not spend much more time on this ski. its a shame cause I owned it since it had 20 hours on it n now it mite have 40.

I think what Glen might want is do a wot high speed run for a minute and pull the lanyard (keeping throttle wot).

Then pull plugs and share those pics. So no idling on the plugs.

Jk

Set i showed u had like 2 hours of use on them. I have a set that had about 2 tanks of gas ran with them and they are also black.

did u get second email of plugs from last year. They are as black as they could possible be.

Wow, those plugs aren't at 960 I'm betting, they look TOO good! lol. I think you said you had to idle in right? Can you take a plug wrench with you and your camera and get a true high speed reading? Don't use new plugs, use the same ones that are in the pics if you can for a more true coloring. Let me know. GP@PPG

No chance on leaning it out a little. I dont know why i even question u, LOL. SO do u guys have the info on jets u use to set up carbs or do i have to take carbs apart. Plugs look super nice.

Main jets are to big, need to drop one size
it sounds like. I can send you two smaller ones to suit your particular ski's needs. It's way rich on top but that will affect it even at 1/4 throttle opening. Please ring me and we'll go over it real quick and get you set! Be glad to help.

So finally got ski running to how is was last few years. SO now to fine tune carbs. I not sure it may need water injection tweek, heres what i got. egt 1 max reading was 960 egt 2 max was 947.As for rpms i have no idea but my race pack is saying 3.48 max. At idle it read like .75. Anyways Ski just dont have that nasty pull i know it shud. It bogs down off idle and doesnt seem to have alot of torque. I cant just take a sharp turn n accelerate at all. Soon as pump gets outta water it will get thru the bog rather quickly. After reading things seems like maybe pop off ,but i pretty confident ppg got that correct so hoping i can maybe it a adjustment with water injection or something. Plugs look real nice, the one towards the back ski is lil richer, just a little. Ski definently isnt loading up. Cause if i idle for awhile its same hesitation as if i just idle for few seconds.
