Pop seat, look at tank.. or pull front storage container, one of those should give you access to see the level in your tank. I suggest not filling it more than to the bottom of the filler neck as the theory is, full tanks, the oil expands when the oil gets hot and the tank can leak at the seam (not sure if your ski has the same tank).

just bought a 98 GTI. How do I check the oil level? There is no dip stick. I added at least 2 quarts and I could not see anything near the neck. Is it possible to add too much oil?
