I have a 2002 GTX 4 TEC that is almost impossible to tell the amount of oil when it is fresh. The color at the bottom doesn't show up oil to well. I've thought about painting it black but was afraid paint might get in engine. I also have an 04 SC that has a different type of dipstick and it's easier to read. Anyone else had this problem? Will an 04 dipstick work in an 02?
