tackleshep	posted: 7/27/2010 9:12:30 PM Just picked up two 1999 GTX RFI skis. They were a matching pair and both have about 135 hours on it. You can tell they were "yacht club" skis for the first 8 years and kept on the water and then were used for a charity for the past two. They are good looking skis with some definate wear marks on the outside but nothing I care about. The first ski starts immediately, runs 6500 RPM in a heartbeat and about 55 mph. It's just a blast. The second won't start and it just started recently. I bought them for pretty cheap because he couldn't get it to start but thought I'd see if anybody knows the easy stuff before I start the repair bill. Battery is new, spark plugs are new, it turns over and cranks and sounds right. I will find a compression tester and check it out but the compression sounds really good just wont fire at all. It also has spark at the plugs so that rules out some of the ignition possibilities. If it started and ran poor that would be a whole other discussion but this won't turn over at all. Any ideas?
